Turning career ideas into action – coaching helps you move forward

You have ideas or dreams of your next steps in  your career, but you are unsure how to bring them to life.  A skilled career coach can help you translate your dreams into actionable plans and start implementing them.

A career coach can guide you in connecting your dreams with reality.  Your coach will work with you to turn ideas into action plans and encourage you to test them in practise. You can test in very small, smart ways – connect with professionals in your desired field, talk to them, gather information, take a course or try pro bono work.

Who we are and what we do – our identities and actions - are tightly connected. By acting and experimenting you will gain valuable insights about your dream job – things you did not know before. Reflecting these with your coach brings insights and a deeper understanding.

When testing your dreams in real world you will also learn more about yourself: does this career path motivate you? Is is aligned with your values? What additional skills might you need?  These are topics where coaching can bring real, additional value to your own reflections. Coaching adds significant value by providing tools and exercises to assess your values and motivations against your new, real life information and experiences.

A coach is neither an adviser nor a consultant. Coaches are trained to listening actively, arouse awareness, encourage and facilitate growth.
